Pelagytics

Concept-stage fisheries analytics platform.

Pelagytics is currently a concept and prototype direction, not a released software product.

Current status

No canonical public repository has been verified for Pelagytics. For that reason it is not included in the primary scientific-software catalogue and no installation, release, API, or reproducibility claims are made here.

The concept concerns modular integration of fisheries, biological, environmental, and spatial information into reproducible indicators and decision-support products.

Promotion criteria

Pelagytics should return to the primary Software catalogue only after it has:

• a canonical repository;
• defined software scope and governance;
• documented data boundaries;
• reproducible installation;
• tests;
• license and citation metadata;
• a minimum viable public interface or API.
