Curriculum Vitae
Elmer Quispe-Salazar · Marine Quantitative Ecologist & Fisheries Scientist
I work at the intersection of quantitative marine ecology, fisheries science, marine data science, and decision science. My work focuses on pelagic fish and marine ecosystems, combining stock assessment, spatio-temporal modelling, population and life-history processes, environmental variability, multidimensional indicators, and reproducible scientific computing.

- population and community dynamics, recruitment, growth, and life-history variation;
- spatio-temporal modelling, statistical ecology, and marine ecosystem indicators;
- pelagic fish and ecosystem dynamics in the Humboldt Current and other Eastern Boundary Upwelling Systems;
- multidimensional stock-state diagnostics, thresholds, regime shifts, and pressure–state relationships;
- integration of biological, fishery, and environmental evidence for adaptive management;

Research portfolio
Publications
Peer-reviewed articles, thesis work, and other formal scholarly outputs are maintained in the publication catalogue.
Conferences
Oral presentations, posters, and other conference contributions are catalogued separately from formal publications.
Research projects
Current research programmes and manuscript-oriented projects document the scientific questions and analytical directions behind the portfolio.
Scientific software
Released and sufficiently documented scientific software is presented separately from incubating packages and concepts.
Teaching
Structured training activities and reusable teaching infrastructure are maintained in dedicated teaching repositories.
External data sources
A curated directory of external fisheries, oceanographic, ecological, climate, and geospatial data sources is available for students and collaborators.
Complete curriculum vitae
The PDF below remains the authoritative detailed CV for education, research and professional experience, publications, conference contributions, training, awards, and other credentials. The website sections above are navigation and discovery layers rather than duplicate CV records.
The PDF is the complete professional record. Publications, conferences, software, teaching, projects, and data-source pages use their own curated or synchronized catalogues and are linked from the CV rather than copied into it. This avoids inconsistent duplicate records across the site.
