Data
The project uses fishing logbooks, trip and set information, vessel characteristics, catch composition, size data, fishing-mode classifications, and environmental covariates inside and outside the Peruvian exclusive economic zone.

- Spatial grids, centres of gravity, distributional indices, and hotspot analysis.
- Comparisons among fishing modes and fleet segments.
- Standardized CPUE using generalized, mixed, additive, and spatio-temporal models.

Current status
Active thesis and publication programme. One component focuses on the historical and operational characterization of the fishery, while a second develops standardized abundance indices and environmental models.
